Mr. Mastondrea is a civil trial attorney at Shebell & Shebell, LLC admitted to practice law in New Jersey and New York. He graduated from Elmira College, summa cum laude, in 1994 and was elected as a member in course to Phi Beta Kappa. He received his law degree from the College of William and Mary School of Law in 1997 where he was selected for the National Trial and Moot Court Teams. Mr. Mastondrea earned an LL.M. in European Union Law and Policy from the University of Edinburgh in 1998.
Before becoming a plaintiff’s attorney, Mr. Mastondrea spent seven years focusing on the defense of complex civil matters with a special emphasis on complex medical malpractice cases. He has vast experience handling serious obstetrical malpractice, wrongful death and traumatic brain injury matters. He has successfully represented plaintiffs, doctors, nurses and a number of large hospitals and health care systems in all aspects of litigation. He also has experience in successfully handling both plaintiff and defense auto negligence, slip and fall, commercial and municipal cases. Additionally, Mr. Mastondrea has significant appellate experience.
