I’ve always believed that hard work and compassion go hand in hand. I spent eight years working in a corporate legal department before becoming a lawyer, where I gained a deep understanding of how large organizations operate — and how easily people can get lost in the system. That experience inspired me to attend law school at night, following in the footsteps of my family members who dedicated their lives to helping others.
When I joined Shebell & Shebell, LLC in 2001, it was more than a career move — it was a continuation of a family tradition. My grandfather, Thomas F. Shebell, founded this firm on principles of integrity, accountability, and service. I’m proud to carry those same values forward every day as I represent injured individuals and those seeking justice after life-changing events.
Throughout my career, I’ve practiced in a wide range of areas including personal injury, civil litigation, and appellate work. Over time, I found my calling in representing clients with workers’ compensation claims and those appealing denials of Social Security Disability benefits. These are people who often feel unheard, and my job is to make sure their voices are not only heard — but respected.
My approach to every case is guided by compassion and diligence. I understand that behind every claim is a person who simply wants fairness, stability, and dignity. Whether I’m negotiating a settlement or presenting an appeal, I remain focused on the human story at the heart of each case. To me, practicing law is about connection — listening carefully, advocating fearlessly, and never forgetting the person behind the paperwork.

As part of Shebell & Shebell, I’m surrounded by attorneys who share that same mission. Working to uphold the rights of injured workers and individuals in New Jersey. Our clients trust us during some of the most difficult times of their lives, and we take that trust personally. Every file, every hearing, every client meeting is an opportunity to make a real difference.
The laws governing workers’ compensation and disability benefits can be intimidating, but I believe that knowledge and persistence can level the playing field. My clients know I’ll stand beside them from start to finish — explaining the process, answering their questions, and fighting for the results they deserve.
I consider it an honor to serve the same communities that have supported my family’s work for generations. My success is not measured by numbers or verdicts, but by the relief and gratitude I see in my clients’ faces when their case is resolved.
