Workplace Discrimination and Retaliation is Illegal in New Jersey
New Jersey law – under the Law Against Discrimination — makes it illegal for an employer to refuse to hire, to harass, to demote, or to fire workers because of their disability, race, gender, religion, ethnicity, sexual orientation or other protected classification. It is also illegal to fire or take action to retaliate against an employee who has made a complaint of harassment or supported the complaint of another person.
